Paddle Trips

Paddling on Bybee Lake Oct. 1997 Join us and explore the lakes.  Watch for bald eagles, great blue herons and beaver lodges.  Learn about the natural history and some of the issues at the lakes.

This trip depends on the water level.  Contact Dale prior to the trip to see if there's sufficient water to paddle in the wetlands.

For our Paddle Trips

The water level in the wetlands changes with seasonal fluctuations.  Our paddle trips depend on sufficient water in the wetlands.  A trip may be cancelled or changed to a different location.  Some trips may be a combination paddle and walk.

Meet at:

Parking lot on N. Marine Dr. OR boat launch at St. Johns Landfill.  Contact the trip leader for location.  How to Get There

Bring:

Canoe or kayak.  Personal Floatation Devices required.  Binoculars.  Water and snacks.

Cost:

Free. Contact trip leader to reserve space.

Help with restoration of native plants, removal of invasive species, installation of beaver guards around trees and clean up of trash.
